Product Of The Week: Grace & Stella Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches

Sigh. Pimples.
Yay! Grace & Stella Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches.
They understand that zit happens.

Miniature moisture magnets, Grace & Stella’s sterile Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches flatten, heal and eliminate the unwanted spots that seemingly pop up on our face at the most inopportune moments (why?! We ask in a whining voice), like on date night, our colleague’s wedding and dinner with friends when everyone wants to take girl boss pics. It’s so annoying.

Well, not anymore. The pimple patches are changing the way we see zits. Literally.

With no picking or popping necessary either, because each tiny patch pulls out and absorbs the bacteria and goo that is a pimple from the pores on our epidermis.

Here’s how they work. The hydrocolloid part, as noted on the label of these small and mighty patches, well, they’re like little sponges (or as medical peeps would say: dressings), that work to treat the pimple by infusing the right amount of moisture to the area. An infusion of tea tree essential oil keeps bacteria from entering the pore while simultaneously healing it. Salicylic acid penetrates the pore, drying up residual pimple goo inside it and then, works double duty to heal and keep the area clean and clear.

All you have to do is cleanse and dry your face before applying an invisible or pink heart, purple flower or blue cloud-shaped patch directly on top of the blemish. Leave the patch on until it turns opaque white, which typically takes four to eight hours. We like to do this at nighttime. Then, remove the patch and go, or apply another patch if you can still see clear or white pus in the pore. It’s super easy and takes the stress out of acne.
