Katy Perry Shows off New Haircut

She may still be a California girl, but pop diva Katy Perry wrapped up her California Dreams tour by trading in her vibrant pink strands for a blonde crop.

Katy Perry’s new haircut was debuted at the “Change Begins Within” Benefit Celebration, in Los Angeles on Saturday. While it may seem drastic for the singer to switch from her vibrant bubblegum shade to blonde (last debuted at the 2011 American Music Awards on November 21), Katy Perry’s new haircut still contains subtle hints of baby pink. 

The songstress’s new look features a chin-lengh bob, with sharp layers. Soft pink accents are more noticeable at the crown of her head, but complement the blonde strands.

We think Katy Perry’s new haircut is a steep hair leap for this star, but at the same time, we’re not surprised (I mean, she does cycle through hair styles and colours every couple months.)

From her fire engine red hair she sported in June, to her cotton-candy inspired lavender shade in August, there isn’t a hue Katy Perry won’t try. 

Katy Perry’s new haircut may take some time to get used to, but if anyone can pull off a new, unexpected look, it’s her.
