If you weren’t deep into Game of Thrones, or celebrating LeBron’s win in the NBA finals, you were probably watching the 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. And if you were watching them, I’m going to go ahead and assume you fell deeply and passionately in love with host Gigi Hadid. Welcome to the club.
Hadid walked the red carpet in a red pantsuit, diamond choker and a bold red lip. Frankly with her supermodel looks Gigi could probably pull off a brown paper bag, but because she is good and kind, time and time again she chooses to bless us with her smoking hot style.
Thankfully makeup artist Patrick Ta has given us the breakdown of her look using Maybelline New York products, and never has it been so easy or affordable to achieve supermodel status. According to Ta, Gigi, like most of us, “loves a fresh and natural look, but still glam at the same time,” which is why the 21-year-old model opted for a bronze eye and bold red lip.
Starting with Hadid’s face, Ta applied a moisturizing oil to give her complexion a luminous and smooth base. To ensure Gigi’s skin appeared glowy and flawless, Ta used Maybelline New York Master Prime Blur + Illuminate, followed by Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation.
He then lightly contoured the hollows of the cheeks and added Maybelline New York Fit Me! Bronzer to accentuate Gigi’s cheekbones. To highlight, Ta applied a concealer two shades lighter than the base foundation under the eyes. For this, he used the superstar Maybelline New York Better Skin Concealer.
