Here comes the bridal boutique!
That's right ladies, May 14 marked the opening day of Toronto's own Kleinfeld Hudson's Bay bridal boutique. The famous Say Yes to the Dress shop has finally made its way to Bay and Queen St., in downtown Toronto, on the 7th floor of The Bay.
The Bigger-and-Better Space:
It's been said that every little girl plans her dream wedding when she's little, but I don't think anyone expected this. The 20,000 square foot salon features 14 fitting rooms that are…wait for it…three-times the average size of an average fitting room. That means you will have all room you need to spin around in your dream dress! The mecca for all things bridal if you want to call it. It will also include a VIP room for larger parties, with its own private lounge. (I think our jaws just dropped.)
Liz Rodbell, President of HBC Department Store Group is basking in the glory of Kleinfeld's impeccable character. “Kleinfeld Hudson’s Bay is the new standard in bridal retail in Canada. We've raised the bar by delivering unprecedented access to world-class designer gowns, the highest standard of service excellence, all in an absolutely stunning environment.”
The Gowns:
Now on to the best part. The dresses. What bridal salon wouldn't be complete without some of the world's best designers in their shop? Kleinfeld will include over 600 designer dresses with over 50 brands. Some of the designers include Canada's own Ines Di Santo, Rivini, Greta Constantine, David Dixon and Romona Keveza. There will also be a small assortment of “ready to go dresses” for last minute purchases.
Beyond the Dress:
Every girl knows that the perfect dress isn't complete without the accessories. This includes the veil, a Kate Middleton worthy headpiece, shoes and jewelry. Kleinfeld will include 125 accessory styles and 40 style of shoes from Oscar de la Renta and Sergio Rossi. And don't worry, we didn't forget about the bridesmaids and flower girls. There will be a number of beautiful dresses to choose from, including the very fashionable Kleinfeld pink!
Given how picture-perfect this all sounds, we expect it's only a matter of time before there's a significant increase in marriage proposals!
