Miley Cyrus got a lot of flack for cutting her hair and shedding her Disney image over the last couple months, and to that we say: nope. Miley Cyrus is guilty of only one thing – changing. And if she weren’t doing it, she would be suffering the grim fate of stagnation, and failing to evolve into a grown-ass woman.

Thus, to celebrate her choices, we’ve rounded up four of the looks we like best (as well as the ones that are arguably most controversial), and broken down how you can channel Miley yourself. Or at least channel her courage to break from the mold.
