Emma Stone’s Red Carpet Hair

The Amazing Spider Man mania has come to a close, but that doesn’t mean Emma Stone’s red carpet looks are any less inspiring. At all eight premieres of the film, the actress showcased hairstyles courtesy of celebrity stylist Mara Roszak and Moroccanoil, so here’s how you can get Emma Stone’s casual red carpet vibe.

Step 1: Apply Moroccanoil to the ends of towel-dried hair
Since Moroccanoil will keep hair smooth and hydrated, it’s crucial to achieving Emma Stone’s smooth, silky look. Roszak applied the product to the ends of towel-dried hair, which she said nourished and revitalized any dull, dry strands. You also want to make sure that hair isn’t sopping wet as it won’t absorb as much of the serum.

Step 2: Blow dry hair straight
Despite the miracle of hair straighteners, blow-drying hair with a round brush will help keep ends smoothed and fly-aways tamed. According to Roszak, the easiest way to achieve the style is by taking small sections of hair and angling the nozzle of the dryer downward to get the hair extra smooth. Make sure you don’t burn hair though, so keep the brush and dryer moving.

Step 3: Flat iron
Since blow-drying already helps tame unwanted waves and frizz, you won’t necessarily have to go to town with the flat iron. However, Roszak suggests touching up with a straightener anyway “ just to ensure that your hair still looks sleek. Work the iron through the ends to create volume and movement.

Step 4: Apply shine and hairspray
The key component to this particular red carpet look is shine and silkiness. Emma Stone’s blonde locks look golden, so to maintain that texture, Roszak suggests misting hair with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray and Moroccanoil Luminous Hairpsray. However, you don’t need to use the hairspray in a traditional sense “ like Roszak, you can spritz the product into your hands and pat on the top of your head to tame frizz and fly-aways. Then, apply a light spray to the rest of your hair, but only enough so that it stays in place “ not so hair looks stiff or immovable.
