The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

these colors are fantastic! I love all of them, especially because I have blue/hazel eyes, so a different hue is highlighted depending on which one I use (i.e. purple makes my eyes more green, brown/beige make them more hazel/blue).

It is pretty tough especially lately with such heat! I generally cut my makeup down a bit because it would just run down my face anyway. I drink tons of cold water and I keep a cool face cloth in a bag of ice to either dab my skin with and when no one is looking I actually wrap that freezing cold cloth around the back of my neck..it works!

My skin is on the oily side, so I make sure to wash my face morning and night with a gentle cleanser, and exfoliate once a week. I also use a light foundation (mixed with my daily moisturizer with SPF), and concealer only when/where needed. For the most part I embrace that my face will be shiny 24/7 and instead of trying to fight it, I work to keep my look as “dewy” as possible 🙂

I start by washing my face with a gentle face wash like Simple or Purpose. Then in the summer instead of toner I like to use witch hazel because I feel it helps with oil and shine. Then I use a very light face lotion with at least SPF 15. During the day, if I need a touch up I blot my face with an oil absorbing tissue where needed. Also, if I’ve been sweating alot from activities I like to freshen up with a facial wipe, then reapply SPF lotion if needed.
