ICYMI, last night was the 89th annual Academy Awards and, while there was no shortage of excitement with the awards themselves, we couldn’t help but stop and stare at the marvelous beauty looks, particularly one on Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone. Makeup artist Rachel Goodwin created the look befitting the La La Land actress using NARS. And while Stone didn’t get to add the Best Picture win to her list of accolades, she was a vision in her golden dress and Old Hollywood style, especially when she delivered her class act speech post-flub.
Goodwin shared her inspiration and key products to get the look, stating, “Emma’s look was all about 1930s Hollywood Glamour — her makeup was inspired by the romantic paintings by Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
To achieve a flawless complexion, Goodwin used NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint. To add a rosy touch to her skin (without going too overboard), she applied the NARS Orgasm Liquid Blush, which is launching later this spring. To rock Stone’s look in the meantime, you can never go wrong with the staple NARS product, Orgasm Blush. To complete the Old Hollywood glam look, Goodwin applied the NARS Mona Audacious Lipstick, finishing off her face with a vampy deep rouge. Oscar-winning, indeed.
