On November 1 daylight savings time ends and we turn back the clocks one hour at 2am, which makes November 1 a 25-hour day. Adidas wants to take advantage of the extra hour and get Torontonians to #runmore. To raise money for the Canadian Olympic Foundation, runners are required to register (a $35 fee) at runmore10k.ca and meet at Ontario Place at 1:00am on November 1 for a 10km race. By the time most runners finish the clocks will have turned back to 1am, meaning it didn’t cost you any time to get your workout in (and burn off those Halloween candy calories!). After the run Adidas will be throwing a celebration, complete with food, beer, a DJ and fun activities.
Need to work up your strength to complete the 10km run? Leading up to November 1, Adidas hosts training runs on Thursday nights at 6:30pm that begin at their Yonge and Dundas store location.
Register now at rumore10k.ca and shop running gear at adidas.ca.
