This Easy Rosé Slushie Is Destined To Become Your Summer Signature
A bottle of rosé, frozen strawberries and a blender are all you need to create the easiest crowd-pleasing cocktail of the summer.

There are two kinds of summer drinks: the ones that require a fully stocked bar cart and a dozen ingredients, and the ones you’ll find yourself making every single weekend because they’re just that easy. This frozen strawberry rosé falls firmly into the second category.

It’s the kind of cocktail that’s perfect for backyard dinners, girls’ nights, cottage weekends or those last-minute invitations that somehow turn into an evening spent talking long after the sun goes down. Best of all, it only takes a handful of ingredients and a blender.

Think of it as a grown-up slushie with a berry Bellini vibe. Frozen strawberries give it a naturally sweet, icy texture, while chilled rosé keeps it light, crisp and incredibly refreshing. Want to put your own spin on it? Swap the rosé for prosecco if you’re craving a little sparkle, or trade the strawberries for frozen peaches for a fresh take on the classic Bellini.

Once you make a batch, don’t be surprised if friends start requesting it every time they come over.

Here’s how to make Frozen Strawberry Rosé Slushies

Serves: 4–6

Ingredients

  • 1 (10-ounce) bag frozen strawberries
  • 1–2 tablespoons cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 bottle (750 mL) chilled rosé wine

Directions

  1. Add the frozen strawberries, one tablespoon of sugar and the lemon juice to a high-powered blender.
  2. Pour in about half the bottle of rosé and blend until smooth, gradually adding more wine until the mixture reaches your preferred slushie consistency.
  3. If you’ve used the entire bottle and the mixture is still too thick, let it sit for about 10 minutes before blending again. You can also add a splash of cold water if needed.
  4. Taste and add the remaining tablespoon of sugar if you’d like a sweeter finish.
  5. Divide among four to six glasses and serve immediately.

Summer entertaining doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes the best recipes are the simplest ones—the kind you can pull together with a few ingredients before guests arrive. Pair these rosé slushies with a charcuterie board, fresh fruit or a bowl of salty chips, and you’ve got an effortless warm-weather happy hour that feels just a little bit special.
