The road to adulthood isn't an easy one, and no one ever nails it 100 percent, but these three books sure help.
The Happiness Equation by Neil Pasricha
At first, I was somewhat skeptical of this book’s premise, since I think that your own happiness is something only you can define, and it’s something deeply personal to each individual. But, admittedly I found it really helpful. The happiness equation isn’t going to magically solve all of your life problems, but it does give you the tools to critically examine components of your life and how to appreciate and evaluate them. Often we get so caught up in trying to balance careers, relationships and our goals (to name a few) that life seems to become an uphill battle rather than something satisfying and fulfilling. Making your own happiness a priority can be hard, because we feel like it’s selfish”but it’s not. Positive vibes, positive tribes is a frequently Instagrammed quote for a reason; when you’re happy, people in your life want to be around you because you make them happy, which bodes well for personal relationships as well as your relationships in the workplace.
