Why Reformation Is The Ultimate Chic Brand Everyone Is Obsessed With

Any IT girl was most definitely seen in a Reformation dress at least once this summer. And you can recognize the floral, flowy print dress anywhere. You’ll spot a Ref girl miles away. No wonder even the likes of Camilla Cabello, Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerber are seen in this brand.

Reformation, an L.A. based brand, answered the silent prayers of Canadians by opening its first brick and mortar store in Toronto in Yorkdale Mall earlier this summer. It also happens to be the brand’s first international store. Simple design, energy-efficient and recycled hangers are some of the ways they put themselves first as an eco-store. Reformation’s design mission is to make effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure.

While the brand’s summer dresses are their bestsellers, their cute jumpsuits, denim, shirts and jeans are also quite popular among fans. Not only owning and wearing the clothing makes you feel super chic, but it also on-trend with the boho, vintage vibes. The pieces make you feel a little bit daring with high slits and a deep sweetheart neck. The brand is striving to be sustainable, with all their materials made sustainably. Even their physical stores echo this same sentiment.

I am now officially obsessed with the brand and almost always looking for new items on the website, as they launch new products weekly. Their most recent launch is the fall shoes which are sustainably made, using materials like recycled tape zippers, shoe laces from 100% recycled polyester and chrome-free leather. They also recently launched the Conscious Cashmere line along with the fall jeans. Here’s some of my fave pieces to get you in (re)formation.

Juliette Dress, $335
This is a midi-length dress with a sweetheart neckline, tie straps and a side slit. The Juliette is a beautifully slim piece throughout the bodice with a relaxed sweep.

Lawrence Dress, $380
This is a one-sleeve dress with a puff sleeve and a high slit. It is fitted in the bodice with a flowing skirt. It was previously sold out and is back!

Cashmere V-Neck Cardigan, $230
You had us at cashmere.

Stevie Ultra High Rise Jean, $200
Loving this high rise, rigid jean with a zipper fly and a straight leg fitted at the hip and butt.

Cynthia Mule, CA$‌305
These pointed toe slip-on mules with kitty heels are a staple, alright.
