Gap and Pendleton are Collaborating

Autumn calls for back-to-school realness, which is why some of us (hi!) are more than okay with the news that Gap and Pendleton are collaborating for a tribute to old school (see: nineties) Americana.

The collection will bring both brands together, and will offer styles to women, men, children, and babies. Grab your plaid, everybody.

“We’re excited to bring a unique pairing of two American icons to our customers with this new collaboration combining the best of Gap and Pendleton’s signature styles,” said Jeff Kirwan, Global President, Gap. “Both brands have played an important role in shaping the American wardrobe and have won generations of fans along the way, making this the ideal collection to share with the whole family.”

And of course, Pendleton President, Mort Bishop III, agrees:

“Pendleton joins Gap in saluting American Style in a collection that is rich in heritage and authenticity. With our joined legacy of design and fabric, the Gap x Pendleton celebrates this exceptional collaboration of classic fashion and iconic plaids.”

So what does the (limited edition) collection include? We’ve got:

– shirt dresses ($74.75)
– denim (jeans and jackets, $89.95)
– shirts ($64.95)
– ponchos ($199)
– a puffer vest ($108)
– shirt jackets ($209)
– baseball caps ($34.95)
– scarves ($54.95)
– totebags ($54.95-$64.95)

And that’s to name a few. The collection dropped yesterday — September 13 — and you can pick it up in stores and online. The nineties! They’re never leaving! (And there’s nothing you can do to stop it!)
