When the inevitable cold weather hits Toronto this winter, rather than avoiding the cold and staying indoors all season, you should embrace the winter with your significant other. Believe it or not, but winter is surprisingly the perfect time to plan fun date ideas. There's plenty to do outside for the more adventurous types like snowshoeing, skating and sledding--not to mention plenty of indoor activities for the homebodies like movie marathons, cooking classes and spa dates. Below, we shared our 12 favorite cold weather date ideas that you can enjoy with your significant other this winter.
Go sledding

Rather than complain about the snow this winter, get outside and embrace it! Head to a home goods store and pick up a slip-and-slide, an inner tube or a sled and hit up one of the many tobogganing hills in the city. This is a great excuse to cozy up close to your special someone and let your inner kid out.
