Karlie Kloss is busier than we are, and I get that and I respect it and I didn’t even intend on really talking about it anymore, but now she’s heading to Netflix so the game has changed.
Kloss — the supermodel/businesswoman extraordinaire — has been tapped to be one of Bill Nye’s five correspondents on Netflix’s upcoming Bill Nye Saves the World, a series in which Nye shows us the way science impacts pop culture, politics and basically everything else. (See: it’s a dream show — it is the show we need and the one we deserve right now.)
Nye announced his correspondents via Twitter with a trailer, which includes Taylor Swift’s BFF reporting from the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and delivering the line, “We’ll be talking about every nerdy thing you can dream of.”
And we shouldn’t be surprised about this particular collaboration. Back in April, Kloss and Nye joined forces (alongside Yara Shahidi) to host the White House science fair.
The series itself premieres next year, so let’s focus on that instead of everything else going on in the world because I need a break for the love of all that is good, please give me a break, I beg you.
That said, here’s hoping the first episode is how Election 2016 managed to happen in the first place, and how — assuming we do — all managed to survive it. Bill Nye, please help us. Or at least show us how science can.
