We’ve got good news if you’ve been pining for TOMS but don’t know how to fit them into your wardrobe: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have joined forces with the shoe line to design three exclusive styles that are a little more chic than the standard slip-on.
Running between $140 and $150, the twins’ contributions are made from Italian wool and cashmere, and are available on toms.com where they’ll uphold the company’s rule of thumb: for every pair of shoes purchased, another will go to a child in need.
Says Ashley and MK of the venture: “We feel it’s really important to spread awareness of the TOMS One for One Mission. The giving is immediate. Having the opportunity to be a part of something so meaningful has made the collaboration with TOMS special to everyone at The Row.” (Agreed!)
It’s been a good week for the Olsen girls – especially since The Row’s Bags recently premiered at Barney’s (that go for a cool $350 000), and their TOMS venture is actually in-step with The Row as well.
Here’s hoping everyone who once pegged them as a tween-oriented flash in the pan are hanging their heads in shame – and taking notes when it comes to the likes of Bieber and the Disney team.
