Julianne Hough is getting ready to release her own footwear line. The dancer/actress/singer teamed up with Sole Society for the collection. The collection will include five to six designs every month for six months with prices starting at $49.95 USD.
I’ve always been into fashion, Hough told People magazine. It’s been a passion of mine. I’ve always wanted to create a line or a collection of my own, and Sole Society approached me and we just decided that it felt natural. Everything I feel I’m about, they’re about. I’m always trying to be fun and feminine and approachable. And I think that’s the same concept and vibe they give off as well.
Hough revealed the line of shoes will have something for everyone, with some vintage inspiration.
I think the overall vibe is girly and vintage, and there’s probably some edgy and sexy shoes in there, too, she said. But it’s not going to be just heels or just flats or just booties. I want to create a line that can serve as any girl’s shoe wardrobe. I want comfort as well as everyday style and I think that’s what Sole Society is great at.
Sole Society’s CEO and founder Brett Markinson said he is excited for Hough’s upcoming collection and revealed why he chose the 24-year-old for their first celebrity capsule collection.
She is a consummate professional and her value as well as her sense of style and fashion are very much in line with our own and what we stand for as a brand, he said. She is very excited about expressing herself creatively and we are excited about capturing her authenticity and helping channel it into this very special shoe line.
Hough’s Sole Society collection will be available on Sole Society’s website and both online and in stores at Nordstrom starting in February. Until then, Hough and Sole Society will be revealing details of the line on YouTube.
