Jennifer Lawrence's latest campaign for Dior has just dropped, and the actress looks as femme and fierce as ever. In her fourth campaign for Dior, Lawrence gorgeously show's off the brand's new fall handbag. As an actress, modelling is second nature for Lawrence, but she reveals that she draws upon her on-screen skills to do Dior's designs justice.
"I feel like every time you get in front of the camera, it's important to have a character in mind, or even an emotion, just so you have something in your eyes," Lawrence said. "Working with Patrick [Demarchelier, who shot the campaign] is such a privilege. He is a legend and he has such an incredible eye for beauty. All of his photographs are effortless and timeless."
In the campaign, Lawrence sports the androgynous style that she has become known for with Dior, wearing a three-piece black suit and pompadour-styled hair. The campaign is for a new handbag called "Be Dior," a boxier and more structured purse than what she has modelled in the past.
“I love being able to fit everything I need into one bag while also looking very chic,” she said in a behind-the-scenes video.
Lawrence also goes beyond the aesthetics of fashion to talk about what it means to be a powerful woman.
"A powerful woman is someone who exudes confidence and can be tough but fair and kind," she said. "And also knows how to get what she wants."
