Wave goodbye to the standard middle part and let its other side reign supreme. Making a debut on the Celine and J Mendel spring/summer 2012 runways, this summer hairstyle has mastered its versatility. Side-parted tresses on the Celine runway were clean and sophisticated, as pin-straight hair was parted higher on the head, and just above the eyebrow. The J Mendel collection opted for beach-lovin’ waves, which encapsulate the meaning of a summer hairstyle. Crimped tresses were parted lower down, overlaying sections of the face. Looks like office-appropriate locks and tousled beach hair have more in common than we thought.
