Valmont Cosmetics’ New Makeup Launches are Ultra Chic

Valmont Cosmetics’ Elixir des Glaciers has launched an ultra-luxe anti-aging foundation, and just like their skincare line, the Swiss luxury brand’s latest launch is just as majestique and luxe. The new launch infuses the line’s signature DNA-based anti-aging formula and a tint of color to add a dewy glow to the skin.

In 2017, the l’Elixir des Glaciers added a new dimension to its anti-aging expertise with the introduction of the Essence of Bees product line. Now, the Essence of Bees is making its iconic savoir-faire available in a foundation designed for daily use.

The two new products are Teint Majestueux, a satin glow foundation, $275, and Poudre de Teint Précieuse, $230, a luminous velvet powder foundation. I had the pleasure of testing both the products.

Teint Majestueux

The Teint Majestueux is a silky liquid foundation that comes in five different shades: Porcelain in Kyoto, Ivory in Shanghai, Natural Sand in Malta, Sandy Beige in Paris and Amber Beige in Florence. It’s a perfect blend of coverage and light, which gently brings out your natural glow. How does this $275 bottle of foundation really stand out? It’s got the benefits of a treatment and the magic of color for a flawless complexion. You would be getting the nutritional benefits from the beehive and the anti-aging properties of Triple DNA and Liposomed RNA.

Honey, a source of hydration and nourishment; Royal Jelly, for soothing and restoration; and Propolis, known for its antibacterial properties, are the essential properties that bring fresh radiance to the skin.

The foundation, rich in skincare properties, acts like a second skin and adds a luminous silky finish to your face. You’re left with a dewy glow and the skin looks and feels healthy as well. The foundation offers medium coverage, taking you from day to night with ease. It goes on easily and stays on until the end of the day.

Poudre de Teint Précieuse

This powder foundation offers a natural silky matte glow to your look. It’s available in four shades: Porcelaine in Kyoto, Ivory in Shanghai, Sandy Beige in Paris and Amber Beige in Florence.

The powder combines reflective pigments which capture and send back light: These flat pigments accumulate on the surface of the skin to visibly conceal imperfections and release a velvety soft radiance. Another ingredient in this foundation is olive squalane, a secret ingredient that blends perfectly into the skin. It’s a plant-based replica of the squalane naturally present in the skin, which melts into the skin’s surface making it easy to achieve a look of “weightlessness.”

The Poudre de Teint Précieuse offers a natural coverage, so I usually use this on a day when I want a  natural look. I like the feel of matte, and even though I have dry skin, the powder adds a subtle, sleek veil of pure glow, without feeling cakey.

When I want a heavier, more-coverage application, I apply it over the Teint Majestueux for a double dose of glow.

Overall, these two new luxe makeup products offers tinted shade with luxury skincare infused into it — and you can actually feel the difference after just one application.
