Valentine’s Day Beauty Looks To Steal From The Stars

Award season has blessed us with so many fantastic red carpet beauty looks that give us inspiration for date night this Valentine’s Day. So whether you choose to go sultry and seductive like Rihanna or opt for that JLo glow, you can simply steal these celebrity beauty looks that were seen on the red carpet and other premieres last month.

Dewy Glow: Jennifer Lopez
If you watched the Super Bowl, you’re still reeling from that explosive and feisty halftime show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. Jennifer rocked the stage and she looked good. This Valentine’s Day, if you want to spice it up and go for a sexy look like Jenny from the Block, we’ve got you. JLo’s longtime makeup artist, Scott Barnes, used Marc Jacobs O! Mega Bronzer Perfect Tan in Tantalize, a warm deep bronze shade, by contouring on her forehead, cheekbones and jawline. For the eyes, he used Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blacquer and the Scott Barner SNatural eyeshadow in Foxy shade. Choose a glossy nude lip, and that’s how you can recreate the signature JLo glow.

Sun-kissed: Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa looked glamorous at the Bad Boys for Life premiere last month. Soft rose gold shadow and soft blush on the cheeks paired with winged eyeliner and glossy lips is a stellar combo. Her makeup artist, Allan Avendano, shared a beauty breakdown using Kosas Cosmetics. He used Tinted Facial Oil Foundation, 10-Second  Liquid Eyeshadow in Globe, Color & Light: Crème Cream Blush & Highlighter Duo in Velvet Melon, Color & Light: Pressed Powder Blush & Highlighter Duo in Contrachroma and the Weightless Lip Color Lipstick in Rosewater.

Bold and Seductive: Rihanna
Rihanna knows how to create a smoking look and she used her own Fenty beauty line to prove it. Her routine involves using the Pro Filtr Soft Foundation in 330, Matchstix in Peach for concealer, Matchstix in Mocha for contouring, and for blush she goes for Killawattfoil in Mimosa Sunrise/ Sangria Sunset. And you’ve got yourself a Riri-approved look.

Classy and Chic: Charlize Theron
Charlize’s Golden Globes look was chic and laid-back. Her look was created using Dior Forever Skin Foundation followed by the Backstage Contour palette to define her cheekbones. For her cheeks, you can see a splash of Rosy Glow blush in pink. For the eyes, she used the Dior Backstage eye palette in cool neutrals followed by the Iconic Overcurl Mascara and Onstage Liner in Matte Black. She used one of my favorites, the Rouge Dior in Rose Montaigne, for the lips.

Dreamy, Romantic: Irina Shayk
Charlotte Tilbury’s nude look on Irina Shayk is envy-worthy and very achievable. This glowing, nude look was created using the Hollywood Flawless Filter, Magic Away concealer, Hollywood Contour Wand and the Beauty Highlighter Wand in Spotlight for the face. For the eyes, it’s a dab of the Pillowtalk Luxury Palette and the lips are glossed over with the Pillowtalk Superstar Lips.

Au Natural: Alicia Keys
Alicia hosted the Grammys and rocked, in a no-makeup look no less. So if you prefer to keep it natural, go for it. Nothing makes you more powerful that being comfortable in your own skin, and owning it.
