Three Overnight Hair Masks

We are a nation of multitaskers, so it’s only natural that we’ve found a way to get work done even while we sleep. Overnight hair treatments are a convenient and beneficial way to restore and deep condition your hair, since the longer duration of time gives the product time to work to its full potential.

Busy mornings don’t always allow for the five minute recommended leave-in time and too many of us rinse out the conditioner before it has a chance to work properly. Overnight treatments also amplify the conditioner by cutting down on exposure to environmental pollutants. Simply apply the treatment before heading to bed and wrap in either a plastic bag or shower cap to prevent the product from transferring onto your pillowcase.

Redken Real Control Overnight Treat

Just apply to damp or dry hair before going to bed. It may be left in or rinsed out the following morning. A 3.4 oz bottle can go a long way as you only need a small amount for each treatment. Redken Overnight Treat is a lightweight formula designed to penetrate hair and restore it to its healthy state.

Moroccan Oil

Moroccan Oil is another term for Argan Oil which is made from fruit seeds of the Argan tree that grows almost exclusively in Morocco. The oil is a rich emollient moisturizer for hair and is made up of a variety of silicones; silicone-based anti-frizz products are very effective. The Vitamin-F nourishes the scalp to alleviate dryness and itchiness. Shampoo out in the morning with a mild shampoo or liquid castile soap. There’s no need to follow up with a conditioner but if you’re prone to extreme dryness then smooth on a little jojoba oil onto the bottom inches of your hair.

Frederic Fekkai Overnight Hair Repair
