We’ve been using Yves Saint Laurent’s Pure Shots Hydra Bounce Essence-in-Lotion to moisturize our face for a couple of weeks now and man, does our skin look better. Even in our magnifying mirror, which yes, we spend a shocking amount of time peering into to get up close and personal with our pores and fine lines. (Yup. We know we have some weird beauty rituals.)
Right now though, what we’re doing (and very happily, we might add) is integrating Pure Shots Hydra Bounce Essence-in-Lotion into our daily routine.
The lotion’s formulation of micro-droplets of water and oil, vitamins E and B3 to protect our epidermis, along with orange blossom from Morocco to hydrate is definitely helping put the bounce back in our skin. Which now looks plumper and more toned with our crow’s feet and fine lines appearing a little smoother as a result. Plus, the rich and milky lotion absorbs right away, making our skin feel more comfortable with none of that tight or dry pulling feeling we usually have when the weather dips and we’re tugging on sweaters.
Then there’s the smell. We’re all about that, even in our skin care, although admittedly it needs to be subtle. The Essence-in-Lotion’s delicate fragrance is all that and a little more. It reminds us of sunshine with its super light floral-orange scent. And we’ll always turn our faces upwards for that emotional sensation of warmth and comfort, especially now as the leaves from the trees fall and we’re spending more time indoors with our magnifying mirror.
