I honestly don’t know anyone who doesn’t care about their face. To be more precise, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t care about the skin on their face. So when I received Dina Mirkovich’s (a.k.a: Dina Pugliese), brand spanking new skincare line called The Care Principle, I sat up and paid attention. Because, you know, it had the word care in the name.
I care about my face and the fact that I put it through the ringer every single day and I’m not talking about the smiling, frowning, crying and laughing. No, I mean the ridiculous temperature we endure as Canadians, from cold brisk winds and snowfalls outside to hot, dry and sometimes humid tropical-like temperatures inside. I also care that my skin is aging. I wish I could stop it but I can’t, so I’m constantly looking out for products that can give me some youthful reprieve. Mirkovich’s lineup of Infinite Glo Facial Serum, Day Cream, Eye Cream and Night Cream addresses a lot of my needs.
Without even applying it to my face I like that the brand is premium, vegan, green and natural. Not that that’s a game-changer for me; I’m not anti-chemical-based ingredients. But I am pro furry-friends and the environment and The Care Principle never tests on animals, plus all of its ingredients are sustainably sourced. The Infinite Glo collection’s four products have also been formulated to work together and have a straightforward regime.
The Facial Serum is applied in the morning and at night and hydrates and revives tired skin with a nourishing boost of Vitamin E, marula seed oil and rosehip seed oil, while its lightweight texture helps brighten, tone and provide 24-hour hydration. The infinite Glo Day Cream is used during the day and is formulated with a luxurious blend of rose otto and organic frankincense oils, antioxidant-rich pine bark extract and neroli to keep skin soft and moisturized. TheEye Cream can be used day and night and contains a blend of pine bark extract and hyaluronic acid to help firm and de-puff, while the Night Cream smoothes your dermis with hyaluoronic acid and antioxidant-rich pink bark extract and neroli.
