Quo Beauty, Shoppers Drug Mart’s beloved in-house beauty brand, is officially a quarter-century old. What started back in 2000 has grown into a go-to Canadian line known for its playful colours, smart formulas and a commitment to being vegan, cruelty-free and inclusive.
To mark the big 2-5, Quo’s dropped a limited-edition collection, and the Xtreme FX Nail Colour in “Throw Confetti” is a total standout. This polish is all about celebration—it’s a soft, opalescent base packed with tiny, iridescent glitter that shifts with the light. It catches flashes of pastel pinks, blues and silvers, almost like party lights dancing on our fingertips. It’s the kind of colour that makes us smile every time it catches our eye.
Application is easy too. Just swipe on a thin coat to start, it dries quickly which is always a win, then layer up for a fuller sparkle effect. Two coats give a pretty, dimensional finish that works with everything in our closet, from our jeans and grey t-shirt to a cute LBD. We like to finish it up with a clear top coat so that our pretty shimmer lasts all week long.
