The word genie always makes me feel hopeful. You know, like something great is going to happen. I mean, Will Smith playing the Genie in Aladdin. Come on, who doesn’t want to rub a little of that on for good luck?! And don’t forget Barbara Eden’s wish-based brand of feminism either. Despite having to call Larry Hagman master on what are now reruns of tv’s I Dream of Jeannie, the man was wrapped around her magical finger. Tight.
But right now, my favourite genie has nothing to do with films or television and has everything to do with bikini lines. Mine to be exact. Because even though I lasered “the zone” years ago, a girl still has to do what a girl still has to do. And trust me. Philips BikiniGenie Bikini Trimmer is making my life a whole lot easier.
For one, I no longer have to shave, wax, scissor or pluck strays away. Doesn’t sound like a big deal? It is. Nicks, burns, cuts and ingrown hairs are no longer a part of my life. Accurate attention to detail is though. This genie has two click-on combs, a mini shaving head and rounded hair tips so grooming can be safe and customized. It’s also AA battery operated, a.k.a: handheld and cord free, which also comes in handy if you want to reach your zone’s hard to get to places. It also mean’s the BikiniGenie is portable so you can just as easily take it with you on your beach vacation as you can to the Middle East or China or wherever you may be boarding your magic carpet ride with Aladdin or with Will *cough* the Genie. Just saying.
