Rihanna is at it again, adding to her now extensive and let’s be frank, awesome makeup line with 50 new shades of Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r Instant Concealer. My personal pick is #200; it’s cool undertones work perfectly on my fair skin. And I’m not exaggerating about the 50 hues. There’s a concealer colour for you and all of your friends so you can literally transform any kind of imperfection into a flawless complexion with the right shade.
The product is easy to dot on, too. Its formulation is thick and creamy and comes in a tube with a sponge-like applicator so you never have to use your fingers. Plus, it blends really nicely on my skin and even though it’s a liquid, it eases into a smooth matte finish. If I’m going out, I like to up my coverage-ante by applying the matching Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation in the exact same shade. There are 50 of those as well with a choice of Hydrating Longwear Foundation and Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. But let’s get back to the concealer.
All skin types can use it, whether your skin is oily or dry or combination like mine. There are some cool double-duty benefits, like if I want to brighten up my under eye area I can swipe a little on to do the trick. And it’s free of parabens and phthalates and, like all of Rihanna’s cosmetics, cruelty-free so never tested on our furry friends. I like to think that’s part of the Beauty For All tagline.
