Fragrance Of The Month: Teaology, Black Rose Tea EDT

Tea for two might be a thing, and yes, we’ve even hummed along to the song. But we’re not lifting pinkies to clink china and share our new Teaology Black Rose Tea eau with anyone. It’s too good, so it’s all ours.

Fresh and floral with woody tea-like undertones, this is an everyday scent. Constructed by olfactory genius, Nathalie Lorson, a master perfumer with Firmenich, the eau contains 88 per cent natural origin ingredients and opens with a sparkling blend of optimistic and zesty mandarin and juicy and dark blackcurrant notes. Earthy and warm green and black teas soon merge into a bouquet of sweet and heady roses before being swirled into a velvety elixir of intimate and soothing whitewoods and musk. The overall effect feels dazzling, private and stunningly beautiful.

It’s also long-lasting too and not just on our skin. The fragrance is vegan and cruelty free, antipollution tested and captured in a 100 per cent heavy glass cylinder-shaped flacon, so is environmentally friendly. Additionally, the classic-looking label is made of 100 per cent recyclable paper, while the pretty pink, white and black packaging is paper certified FSC so it can all be placed in the green bin.

Teaology Black Rose Tea EDT, $69 for 100 ml, available online at www.teaologyskincare.ca.
