So when the French brand launched their new parfum, Yes I Am Glorious we were in.
Sweet and fruity, Glorious is as cheerful and energetic as it sounds, opening with juicy notes of white peach nectar and mandarin oil. Bright and exhilarating magnolia and white floral blooms join the mix before being enveloped into a rich and creamy milkshake with a dash of warm sandalwood. The overall effect is radiant, confident and, like it’s name, glorious. Which makes it fitting that Canadian-Filipino actress, influencer and activist Shay Mitchell is the face and voice of the scent.
Best known for her role as Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars, the co-author with Michaela Blaney of the young adult novel Bliss, host of her own lifestyle YouTube channel and supporter of non-profit organizations such as, the anti sex trafficking Somaly Mam Foundation, the LGBTQ equality advocacy group GLAAD and by affiliation, Cacharel’s partnership with girl-empowerment advocate Inspiring Girls International, 34-year-old Mitchell is a force. Her positivity and authenticity radiate the fragrance’s intent to mist its wearers with a strong sense of self. And like it’s iconic predecessor, it’s also a pretty great perfume to wear and call your own.
