Jet Setter Style: Ashlee Simpson

Where can we start about Ashlee Simpson? This mom of 2-year old Bronx has come a long way since the days of SNL mishaps, hereby referred to as ‘the days we don’t talk about’. From marriage (and divorce) to pop punk Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz, to chopping all of her hair off into the most perfect pixie cut, Ashlee Simpson’s style has grown up just like she has.

She’s now an adorable, sophisticated, hipster mama with stints on television, broadway, and an upcoming fashion line with sister Jessica, set to launch by the end of 2011 all added to her resume. Between all the work in Los Angeles, and visiting Boardwalk Empire actor Vincent Piazza in NYC, this girl’s got a travel style that is worthy of the best street style blogs.

We like that Ashlee chose a slub knit cardigan to keep uncontrollable temperatures on the plane in check. She can hide any unruly tresses achieved from falling asleep on the flight with her cute straw fedora. A basic tee and a comfy drawstring short keep this look simple, but polished enough to seek an upgrade.
