Kate Bosworth’s Jet Setter Airport Style

It’s impossible to not be at least a little obsessed with Kate Bosworth. Her ability to effortlessly appear on the red carpet looking like a million dollars contrasted with her laid-back festival look (she showed up at this year’s Coachella in a t-shirt from Topshop) makes every girl crush we’ve had on her since Blue Crush 110% justified. So it comes as no surprise that post-flight at LAX, Kate was glowing even in a loose pair of rolled-up khakis and a baggy knit sweater. Ten extra points for her chunky novel as an accessory. Wonder what she’s reading? Possibly a guide to taking over the world?

Kate and best friend/stylist Cher Coulter collaborated on Jewelmint.com, where users can fill out a free style profile (read: fun quiz!) and have Jewelmint recommend the perfect pieces to fit their individual style. The best part is that each piece has specific styling advice from both Kate and Cher (who better?) and costs $29.99. Plus, we can totally see Kate rocking these pieces herself, which is rare in the world of celebrity gone designer.

And because one project isn’t nearly enough, right after the big success of female-fronted comedy Bridesmaids, Bosworth’s latest film ‘Life Happens’, is a story about three longtime roommates who have their friendship tested by the arrival of a baby. Bring on the funny girls! The film also stars Rachel Bilson and co-writer Krysten Ritter. Now that the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere is off of her plate, we’re eager to see what project Kate takes on next, and how good she’s going to look flying there.

Kate’s look is as easy to pull together as having someone else tie up your sandal. American Apparel has become the go-to spot for lightweight high waisted pants, and rolled up like Kate’s, the linen high-waist pleated pant will let you breathe in the airport, and on the plane. A knit sweater is easy to fly in, and there’s no hood to get bunched up behind your head, or zippers to leave funny marks when you fall asleep for five hours. We’re quite certain cashmere is a heavenly experience, or at least as close as you can get to heaven when flying coach. To finish your look (and of course, keep the paparazzi off your back) seek out a pair of classic Ray Ban Wayfarers. Keep Benefit’s High Beam in your cute carry-on backpack to freshen up after a long flight and fake brightness on tired skin.
