We all know the obvious guys; the ones who catch our eye immediately (Oh hello, Mr. Tall, Dark & Handsome Clive Owen look-a-like). But believe it or not, there are certain guys out there you may be overlooking. The sexy guy you’re seeking might be right beneath your nose.
Nice Guys
Do you consistently choose Edward over Jacob, or Colin Farrell over John Krasinski? If so, you need to take a better look at the nice guys in your life that you’re overlooking. Nice guys can be a lot of fun, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how your well-mannered man can turn into an animal in bed. After all, isn’t part of being nice a desire to please? Hmmm.
Blue Collar Guys
Some women overlook blue collar guys because they just don’t know any. Let’s face it, if you work at an office, you just don’t meet those kinds of men, right? Wrong! Take a good look the next time one of your lights stops working, or the elevator gets stalled, or any other situation at work that calls for the guy who is good with his hands. You just might be overlooking your dream guy. There are many benefits to a man who is good with his hands, and I don’t mean how handy he can be around the house.
Nerdy Guys
Who doesn’t love a nerdy guy? Justin Long, Shia LeBouf, need I say more? Nerdy guys can be absolutely adorable, and their passion for whatever it is that makes them so nerdy can be easily transformed into a passion for, erm, other things. If you’re overlooking that nerdy guy at work, take another look.
Serious Guys
We all know the serious guy. He’s, well, serious. He doesn’t smile that much, doesn’t often make jokes, and is very focused on everything he does. Well, ladies, here’s another guy who’s personality traits can be turned to your advantage, once you stop overlooking him. Serious guys take everything seriously and I do mean everything. Take some time to get to know him “ chances are he’s just shy and has a great personality once you melt that serious exterior. And then you can get on to other matters that need his focused attention.
Neighborhood Guys
Some of us barely have time to wave to our neighbors as we dash from work to gym to nights out. But don’t overlook that handsome guy who gets his mail when you do. Dating a neighbor can be very fun, and there are lots of benefits, too. (Bonus: You don’t have to worry about packing for an overnight stay, there’s no long commute to see each other, if a date goes badly you can just make your excuses and walk home). So invite your good-looking neighbor for a cup of coffee “ you never know just what being a good neighbor might mean.
