Strawberry Fragrances Are the Hottest Gourmand Scent Trend

When I think of strawberry scents, a few things come to mind. The saccharine smell of my friend’s Strawberry Shortcake dolls (they were never my thing). The fruity goodness of my jumbo Lip Smacker Strawberry Lip Balm (heavenly!). The sugary, comforting aroma of my mom making red Jell-O on sick days. I also, of course, think of hot July days and jammy summer strawberries, one of my very favourite things on earth.

For me, there’s a warm, fuzzy nostalgia associated with this specific berry smell, but it’s never been a note that’s pulled me into a fragrance because it never hit quite right—until now. Just as vanilla-based scents went through a radical evolution, becoming less cloying and more alluring, bold and mysterious, strawberry-centric scents have also become more sophisticated, organically sweet-smelling and unexpectedly fresh. They are also currently social media superstars.

We have put this body mist on repeat this summer for a few reasons. It smells incredible, just like a field of fresh strawberries.
