Stay calm and hydrate on with Honest Beauty’s The Daily Calm Lightweight Moisturizer. Try it. We are. It’s actually the first time we’ve tried one of the Honest Beauty’s products and we have to say we are pleasantly surprised.
Not that we doubted the quality of or the efficacy of the brand, they do after all list the 2,500-plus ingredients/chemicals/materials that they ban from their products right on their website. No, we were hesitant to dig in because, well, it’s a celebrity-based brand and we weren’t sure if it would just be a flash in the pan or if it would have staying power. And let’s face it, we didn’t want to fall in love with a product that would eventually fall into never-never land.
Founder and owner Jessica Alba has proved us wrong and we’re glad.
The Daily Calm Lightweight Moisturizer is fantastic. Like the name implies, the hyaluronic-infused formula is sheer to the touch and absorbs quickly as it hydrates and strengthens our skin. Courtesy of its calming and trademarked phyto-blend, it also eases away redness and irritations, gently soothing our skin, leaving it looking and feeling soft and smooth. Plus, it’s hypoallergenic and recognized by the National Eczema Association, so we don’t have to worry about it incurring any of the itchy, scaly flare-ups we’re prone to on our cheeks. And then there’s the pump.
The product’s white formula is conveniently and hygienically housed in a cylinder-shaped container with a pump, which helps to minimize the spread of germs and bacteria. Sure, we wash our hands a lot, but this is still a feature we love. During this time of viruses and vaccines, it’s helping us stay calm and hydrate on…just saying.
