High school is an important time in a young woman’s life and there’s so much that already makes a teen feel like she’s being held back, but her period shouldn’t be one of those things. Playtex Sport has started a new campaign to help teens reach their full potential, with the Playtex Play On Canada Grant Program, offering up to $50,000 in funding for girls high school sports teams. Since nearly three-quarters of Canadian girls say they are unable to participate to their full potential in high school sports and nearly half say boys have more choices when it comes to high school sports, Playtex wants to ensure that girls are on equal playing field and don’t skip a beat.
To celebrate the grant program, 29Secrets and Playtex are giving away a Playtex Sport prize pack ($250 value), because no one should have to slow down because of their period.
