Get into it: KENZO has just been named as one-half of H&M’s newest designer collaboration (the other half being H&M, duh), so start lining up now.
Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will bring KENZO to the masses via collections for women and men, including accessories, and will hit 250 select stores (and online) on November 3.
“We can’t wait to share the world of KENZO x H&M with everyone, with all of its creativity, fun and love of fashion,” Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor of H&M said in a statement. (And I can’t wait to reap the benefits of this aforementioned sharing.)
Understandably, Lim and Leon are equally amped:
“With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries, and bring the new energy of KENZO to everyone around the world,” they said, also in a statement.
Many statements! But also: there’s no time to waste, obviously. We have no details on what the collection will look like, what the price points will be, or how many people you will have to fight for like, a keychain, but look. This is enough. We don’t want to bombard you, and H&M/KENZO clearly understands this.
So go forth into the day with this knowledge: on November 3 you will be calling in sick to work to reap the benefits of a major designer/chain collaboration the likes of which this world has never seen, I’m sure. Also, when you’re there please pick me up a scarf or something”I hate crowds and line-ups and unless Lim and Leon show up to my house with the entire collection, I will be watching you all from afar.
Jealously, mind you.
More details soon, promise!
