We’re at no loss for celebrity clothing lines, but that doesn’t mean we’re not legitimately psyched for the release of Nicki Minaj’s.
However, expect no details — none — until it comes out next year.
Word on the street that in Nicki’s upcoming three-part special on E!, she won’t even feature footage of the collection — because it might get its own special.
“I’ll see how overwhelming it is,” Ms. Minaj said to Billboard about about the special-in-question. “If I feel like it’s too personal, people discussing too much, I won’t do it.”
However, the premise could touch on a topic we could all take something from.
“I think overall it’s about overcoming everything when you’re trying to get something done and how hard it is to balance everything,” she continued. “I was beginning ‘American Idol,’ preparing the tour, doing video shoots. It should be called ‘Multi-Tasking At Its Finest.'”
And while it’s already getting compared to Rihanna’s (failed) special about her own fashion line, with Nicki’s ‘American Idol’ gig, we can probably expect for this to fare better. (If only because I will personally call each and every one of you and make you watch it over the internet with me.)
