Miley Cyrus pulled a Britney this past week and, from what we could see, laid one on one of her female dancers during a performance of “Can’t be Tamed” on Britain’s Got Talent. Like any other scandalous on-stage action, the performance has everyone talking. From her barely-there leotard to the smooch of the century, Miley once again found herself under the scrutiny of pop culture fans everywhere.
She quickly took to her official blog to fend off any rumors of the alleged girl-on-girl action, denying that any kind of kiss took place on stage. “I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers cant even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story,” she wrote.
Miley continued on, in full caps-lock mode saying: “GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD.” Now, what did the 17-year-old think was worthy of our attention? World peace. Yes, that is right… World peace.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I can see where poor little Miley is coming from. It must be hard to have the world watching your every move just waiting in the shadows for you to mess up (again, and again, and again!). But unfortunately there is a price to fame and when little girls all over the world are looking up to you for guidance, people will talk when you pull… uhh, adult moves. In her defense, that could also just be bad, misleading choreography. You can check out the performance here.
