ICYMI, the 2017 Golden Globes were on last night, kicking off this year's awards season. While there's slightly less pressure for a constantly snubbed actor to take home a big golden man statue this year, there were still some notable moments last night, both on the red carpet and at the actual awards show. Moonlight won the big one
Only time will tell if this movie is worthy of that Best Picture golden statue at the Oscars next month, but if the Globes are any indication, Moonlight is certainly on the right track, taking home Best Motion Picture – Drama, beating out the buzzworthy Manchester by the Sea (which Casey Affleck won Best Actor – Drama for his role in) and Lion.
