Summer is officially in full swing and there’s a whole slew of beauty and skincare products that have taken over our routine. From lip gloss and lipsticks to scrubs, masks and bronzers, there’s a little something that you’re sure to want to add to your beauty closet.
Marc Jacobs Beauty
Marc Jacob’s first skincare product on the market is the new Youthquake Hydra-full Retexturizing Gel Crème Moisturizer, $79. It is a multitasking moisturizer with powerful pineapple enzymes for ultimate hydration and a glowing, makeup-ready skin. It works well on all skin tones, without being too greasy or heavy — a great option for summer.
In the beauty department, I’m obsessed with the new Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter, $58, in Tantalize. It’s a soft golden bronze that gels so well with warmer skin tones. It adds a dewy glow to the cheeks, giving a perfect summer look.
NARS
NARS’ Orgasm Oil-Infused Lip Tint, $34, is a super hydrating, high shine lip oil with a hint of the universally-flattering, cult-favorite Orgasm shade. It’s a peachy pink, gold-tinted shade that’s just the summer lip tint to sport.
Sephora Collection
Summer’s the perfect time to go all out with the bronzers. Sephora Collection’s Golden Hour Luminous Bronzer, $24, is a universal shade that adds warmth to any skin tone, giving it that golden hour glow that everyone’s trying to achieve.
Burt’s Bees
Burt’s Bees Natural Mattifying Powder, $17.97, is a lightweight powder that creates buildable coverage for a smooth skin texture. It really works wonders on oily and combination skin, a fitting option for summer.
L‘Occitane
L‘Occitane introduced their new Fruity Lip collection, which includes a Fruity Perfecting Balm, $29, a 3-in-1- Delicious Lip Balm,$29, Delicious Tinted Balms, $29, and Fruity Lipsticks, $24. I love this entire collection as it’s perfect for sun-kissed lips in summer. Also, I would highly recommend trying their new Radiance Scrub, $39, and the Purifying and Soothing Masks, $39. They help in giving a beautiful glow to the skin.
Rodan + Fields
Rodan + Fields new Reverse Radiant mask, $71, is a face mask that smoothes the skin’s texture and gives it a radiant glow. Made with brightening Retinal-MD Technology, exfoliating Glycolic Acid and Turmeric Extract to boost radiance, this metallic cream face mask revives the look of dull, uneven skin as it brightens.
Rodial
Rodial’s Vit C Brightening Mask, $99, is a lightweight gel mask infused with pure vitamin C and a blend of 10% fruit, glycolic and lactic acids. Leave it on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes and it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Charlotte Tilbury
Charlotte Tilbury’s new Hot Lips Lipstick 2 is inspired by strong icons and rulebreakers, and therefore the 11 shades are pretty iconic right now. This lipstick, $43, is moisturizing and hydrating, leaving you with super soft and kissable lips. It’s definitely a hot summer lip line.
Dior
Two of my favorite items from Dior for summer are the Dior Lip Glow to the Max,$45, and the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss, $45. With gloss being a huge trend this season, this one is a clear winner.
In the skincare department, I’m obsessed with Dior’s Capture Youth Intense Rescue Age-Delay Revitalizing Oil-Serum, $125, which works on any skin that suffers from dryness, dullness or lack of radiance. The scent immediately takes over and the serum just melts on the face. It’s certainly worth every cent.
Vichy
Vichy’s Ideal Soleil Sport Ultra-Light Refreshing Lotion SPF 60, $29.95, is a super light and refreshing sunscreen lotion which protects against UVA/UVB rays. It’s not at all sticky or greasy in any way and does not leave behind any residue.
Neutrogena
Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion SPF 50, $12.39, not only protects the skin, but also completely moisturizes it. It is made with hyaluronic acid, non-comedogenic and oil-free, so it won’t cause acne or clog pores.
Hawaiian Tropic
Hawaiian Tropic’s new Silk Hydration Weightless Clear Spray Sunscreen SPF 50 is a super light spray that feels like a barely-there second layer of skin, protecting you against the sun with broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. The tropical scent is simply a bonus.
Banana Boat
Banana Boat’s new Sport Sunscreen Stick in SPF 50 is designed for outdoor sports. The convenient stick can be used on-the-go and is water resistant. It’s perfect for sports enthusiasts who are always on the run. See what I did there?
Consonant
Consonant’s HydrExtreme Sheet mask, $12, gives the skin much-needed hydration for 24 hours. The antioxidants and oils revitalizes the skin’s protective barrier while boosting the skin’s health.
Caryl Baker Visage
Cary Baker Visage’s new HD Brow Henna, $75, is for anyone who feels that they’re brows are too pale. After trying this out myself, I don’t feel the need to apply any brow product as the henna darkens the brows on it’s own, maintaining a healthy look.
Secret
Secret’s new aluminum-free deodorant, $7.99, gives long lasting protection — a much-needed treat in summer. It glide son easily, and leaves no residue behind. This is one of the must-haves to carry wherever you go this summer. I love the rosewater scent.
