We can’t get enough of the deep blue eyes, the perfectly unkempt hair, the infectious charm of Ian Somerhalder. And thanks to Azzaro Pour Homme, we will be seeing more of him in the fragrance’s new ad campaign.
Somerhalder is the new face of the iconic men’s fragrance and will be featured alongside Brazilian model, Ana Beatriz Barros, in a black-and-white photo campaign. For the first time ever, Azzaro Pour Homme has also created a video clip chronicling the story of “modern seduction” between a man (Somerhalder) and a woman (Barros).
“I think that when a man wears fragrance, he instinctively knows that this is above all for the benefit of others. The intention of seduction is always there,” says Somerhalder.
With its new refillable bottle, Azzaro is the perfect brand for environmentally minded Somerhalder to partner with. In 2010, he started the Ian Somerhalder Foundation to help raise awareness on different environmental actions, including clean energy sources, sustainability and animal rights.
The scent is said to be glamorous, playful and, above all, seductive, an ideal match for The Vampire Diaries star, who Azzaro describes as the “modern seducer”. We couldn’t agree more!
