Watch The Trailer For Netflix's 3-Part KYLIE Documentary
Netflix’s upcoming three-part documentary KYLIE offers an intimate look at Kylie Minogue’s life, career, and resilience ahead of its May 20 premiere.

Netflix has released the first trailer for KYLIE, a three-part documentary series chronicling the life and career of Kylie Minogue. The intimate project traces her evolution from her early acting role on the Australian soap opera Neighbours to becoming one of the most enduring figures in pop music.

Directed by Michael Harte and produced by the team behind the Beckham and Victoria Beckham docuseries, KYLIE features a mix of personal archival footage and new interviews. Alongside Minogue, contributors include her sister Dannii Minogue, musician Nick Cave, Neighbours star Jason Donovan, and music producer Pete Waterman.

Beyond the chart-topping hits and decades of reinvention, KYLIE promises a more personal portrait—one that moves past the headlines to explore the woman behind the music. Drawing from a lifetime of home videos, photographs, and candid reflections, the series examines how Minogue has navigated public scrutiny, personal loss, and illness with a quiet resilience that has earned her admiration far beyond her fanbase.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into some of the most defining moments of her life. Minogue reflects on her breast cancer diagnosis at 36, which forced her to cancel her planned appearance at the Glastonbury Festival and the remainder of her Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour in 2005. Fourteen years later, she would return to the Glastonbury stage in 2019—an emotional, full-circle moment following the release of her compilation album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection.

In the trailer, Dannii recalls the uncertainty surrounding her sister’s diagnosis. “We didn’t know if she’s ever gonna be well again,” she says, before adding: “I just wanted to be with my sister. Music kept us going.”

KYLIE begins streaming on Netflix on Wednesday May 20, 2026, offering a rare, unfiltered look at one of pop’s most beloved icons. Watch the newly released trailer below.
