On last night’s episode of Euphoria, the HBO hit show delivered its most talked-about fashion moment of the season: the hotly anticipated wedding of Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney).
The third episode of season 3 of Euphoria, winkingly titled “The Ballad of Paladin,” centred on Nate and Cassie finally getting married in a lavish but doomed ceremony. The event included hundreds of guests, some jaw-dropping fashion moments, a James Brown impersonator, a loan shark, and loads of flowers before it descended into violent chaos.
Still thinking about some of those over-the-top looks? Here’s more on every outrageous outfit worn to the chaotic wedding, including Cassie’s corseted wedding gown, Maddy’s jaw-dropping revenge dress, Jules’ naked dress, Rue’s choice of footwear, and more.
Cassie’s corseted Jackson Wiederhoeft wedding gown

Designed by New York-based couturier Jackson Wiederhoeft in collaboration with Euphoria‘s costume designer Natasha Newman-Thomas, the custom Wiederhoeft gown wasn’t just made to be seen—it was engineered to overwhelm. And overwhelm it did.
Cassie’s hyper-feminine gown featured a curved corset, thigh-high slit, voluminous train, dramatic veil and plenty of sparkle. Incorporating around 160 yards of tulle, the gown was so “massive,” in fact, that Wiederhoeft worried about finding a box big enough to ship it from his New York studio to the HBO show’s set in Los Angeles.
“It felt like it should be really over the top and have probably one too many features — in a way that you could tell her character has such a strong grip, but also is losing her grip at the same time,” Wiederhoeft told Page Six Style of the “princess-like dream dress,” the biggest their brand has ever created.
For the reception, Cassie ditched the skirt’s volume, leaving behind a shimmering mini to get into the party spirit.
Maddy’s green cutout dress

Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie) made a serious style statement when she strutted into Cassie and Nate’s wedding wearing a green cutout dress. Maddy’s “revenge dress” (as its been dubbed on social media) was custom made by Euphoria costume designer Natasha Newman-Thomas. The dramatic dress even featured a crucifix chain down her back to ensure eyes were on Maddy from every angle.
Ultimately, Maddy leaves the celebration early, with Jules later suggesting to Nate that she “got a little more emotional than she anticipated.”
Jules’ naked dress

Leave it to Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer) to totally reinvent wedding guest dress codes.
Jules strutted into Cassie and Nate’s wedding, as Rue’s plus one, wearing a pale blue gown from Acne Studios that turned a few heads… thanks to plenty of strategically placed sheer panels and oversized bows.
Rue’s oversized suit and Converse

Dresses aren’t exactly Rue Bennett’s (Zendaya) style, so it wasn’t really a surprise to see her walk into Nate and Cassie elaborate wedding wearing an oversized baby blue suit. But, the dirty, beat up sneakers?
In fairness, those black hightop Converse Chuck Taylors may not be wedding appropriate but they are Rue’s signature and they are a classic.
Lexi’s pink bridesmaids dress

Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow) was, of course, a bridesmaid for her sister Cassie’s wedding to Nate. For the occasion Lexi wore a pretty in pink “Madeline Bow Dress” by Los Angeles-based fashion house Nana Jacqueline.
Next to the $50,000 worth of floral arrangements, the coquette core-inspired dress made perfect sense.
Nate’s Bottega Veneta tuxedo

So, what did Nate wear for his big day? A custom Bottega Veneta tuxedo, obviously. Nate has been wearing head-to-toe Bottega all season and this black number was a custom design made specifically for the wedding. He was also wearing Bottega shoes and wore a gleaming, golden Rolex Day-Date watch, which is the brand’s undisputed hero piece.
BB’s bump-baring dress

Last, but certainly not least…
She’s back! BB (Sophia Rose Wilson) made her first appearance of the season for Nate and Cassie’s wedding. The East Highland alumni definitely got the “showing skin” memo and hit the ceremony wearing a baby bump-framing, tomato-red number.
