Yes, people are using the dolls to live out certain fantasies; but the same rules apply to the dolls as it does to most sexual encounters humans seek out; it’s more about connection than it is about sex. That is not to say that there isn’t a large appeal pertaining to the sexual aspect. But it’s been proven time and time again that those seeking out sex are more so seeking out deeper (usually human) connections.
