We’ve been waiting, for like, two months and as of February 9th, Nuxe Paris’ Very Rose Lip Balm is finally here. It’s the latest product to join the French brand’s Very Rose skincare line-up of Creamy Make-up Remover Milk, Light Cleansing Foam, Refreshing Toning Mist and more. It’s limited edition though, on store shelves until April, so you’d better believe we’ve stocked up.
It’s that good.
Star ingredients rose extract, shea butter and beeswax have been swirled together to create the ultimate and luxe lip balm with maximum softening, soothing, hydrating and protecting benefits. As well, all of the lippy’s ingredients have been cultivated, not synthesized from petrochemical ingredients, making it 100 per cent natural. It’s pretty in pale pink hue is an added bonus and the balm smells good too, like light vanilla. (Although we secretly wish it smelled like the May roses it contains, but that’s just us.)
Plucked from Morocco, the May roses’ petals are renowned for their luxurious and beautiful scent, as well as for their oil extract. Rich in fatty acids, the oil is perfect for skincare as it provides healing moisture that relieves tight and dry lips. Its melt-away texture is neither greasy nor sticky and absorbs quickly, too. We like to wear it on it’s own during the day and we’ve also have taken to applying an extra layer or two before bedtime for maximum impact. Trust us when we say, this balm has been worth the wait.
