We’ve been sharing our shower with Prismatic Ash Soap Co.’s Essential Oil Bar Soap in “Lemongrass Scrub.” It’s our new favourite body product. Its zesty scent lingers on our skin and, weirdly, compliments whatever perfume we spritz on afterwards. Plus, despite our daily use for two solid weeks, its denseness and size remain intact, well, with more rounded edges, but still.
Handcrafted in Vancouver, this square of artisan goodness is loaded with premium lemongrass essential oils, a blend of olive, coconut, rice bran and castor oil along with shea and cocoa butters and more—all to cleanse, soothe and hydrate our skin. It also has a healthy helping of apricot seeds to help exfoliate the gunk and dead skin cells off our body. We appreciate that, because when we step out of the shower our skin is baby soft and smooth from our neck all the way down to our toes.
Each bar (and there are 12 to choose from, from “Natural” and “Coffee Coconut Cream” to “Eucalyptus”) of the Canadian brand’s soaps are cold pressed too, which means their formulas have been specially mix-mastered to create a creamy lather for deep hydration to help minimize dryness and itchy skin. The bars are then dried for an extra 24 hours before being cut into their handy ergonomic shape and packaged with recyclable paper packaging. As far as bar soaps go, this may be the end of the line for us…Prismatic Ash Soap Co. is just that good.
