These vegan nail lacquers are 3 Free, which means that absolutely no formaldehyde, toluene, or DBP (phthales) makes its way into the mix. And thanks to a trendy new shade dedicated to Kate Middleton, No More Waity, Katie ($17), now you can get the royal treatment.
Dr. Bronner’s
Free of synthetic foaming agents, Gwenyth uses these multipurpose, vegetable-based soaps to lather up. She loves the Lavender Magic Pure Castile Liquid Soap ($15.75) for a relaxing, end-of-day bath. Though these organic soaps can double up as shampoo (and even toothpaste!), Gwyneth sticks to using it as a wash for soft skin.
Sprout Wellness
Each product made by this small company supports local, sustainable farms, is 100% natural and is put together once a week, in small batches. That’s what Gwyneth really appreciates about Sprout Wellness. It’s the way it should be, she explains.
She shared Sprout’s organic Sugar Body Scrub ($10) recipe to showcase a great homemade exfoliator:
- 1 cup organic demerara sugar (or any other coarse sugar will work)
- 1-2 tsp organic unrefined coconut oil
- 2 tsp organic shredded coconut
Mix shredded coconut and sugar in a small bowl, stir until blended. Heat coconut oil in a small pot just until melted. Pour coconut oil over sugar and shredded coconut, you’ll notice it liquefies some of the sugar. With a fork or spoon, stir oil into the sugar mixture. It will start to spread. Continue until the sugar is all one consistency.¨¨To use: Apply a small amount to areas you want to exfoliate and moisturize.
Olivella
While this Italian line is rich with natural creams, soaps, moisturizers and more, the Olivella Cleasing Wipes ($7) are what Gwyneth covets! She recommends these scent-free wipes for a quick wash in the morning or at the end of your day. Since they’re made with 100% virgin olive oil, the hit of vitamins A and E you’ll give your face is an added bonus.
