9 Body-Toning Exercises You Can Do at Home, the Gym or On-the-Go

With summer around the corner and temperatures rising each day, chances are you want to add some intense body-toning and strengthening moves to your regular workout so you can rock your bikini or one-piece bathing suit feeling extra confident about yourself.

We spoke with Nike Master Trainer Eva Redpath, creator and owner of Toronto’s leading women’s fitness group Body Conditioning by Dancers and award-winning Equinox fitness trainer, about which workout moves to add to your routine. Bridge leg chops

Start on your back with both legs bent and feet flat on the ground. Lift your hips off the ground, straightening one leg to a 45-degree angle. Keeping your hips high, raise the straight leg to a 90-degree angle. Lower the straight leg and continue to lift and lower it for 30 seconds, then switch legs.
