Do you find yourself dragging toward the end of the day? Are you often just too tired to work out, prepare a healthy dinner, or do anything besides find the remote control? Or are you dieting and feeling weak and tired all the time? There are some terrific foods out there that will actually give you lots of energy and even help you lose weight (even belly fat.) Interested in powering up your diet? Try some of the super energy foods below.

Lentils. Lentils are low in calorie and high in iron, which can help prevent anemia. Some studies have even shown that getting enough iron can make you smarter! This super food gives you lots of flavor, B vitamins, and fiber, and can help keep your blood sugar at an even level. And they are virtually fat free! Mix lentils into salads, pasta, sauces, or almost anything else you can think of “ they will absorb the flavor of your favorite dish while making it into a super food!

Potatoes. This awesome food will give you tons of energy and will also help keep your blood pressure low.
