Nigel Barker, the fashion photographer best known for his part on "America's Next Top Model," is launching a cosmetics line. He will be launching the line with his wife, Cristen Barker, who happens to be a makeup artist herself. The two will actually be launching two separate lines — Beauty Equation and BE.
Beauty Equation is said to be their more luxurious line targeted at women in their mid-20's and up, with products beginning around $25. This line will include products that are enhanced with vitamins, along with colourful eye shadows, lip glosses and face kits. Meanwhile, BE will target younger buyers and will have products starting around $8. While this line doesn't have the same vitamin-enriched products, it still has an aim of keeping young skin healthy.
Nigel said both lines will have a focus of making people look "camera ready."
"After years of staring at people through a close lens, you get a really tight look at the skin and face," he told Women's Wear Daily. Cristen will be heading the project (for obvious reasons), but Nigel will be there to photograph all the campaigns.
Beauty Equation and BE will be available some time next year.
